HeartSpeed Safire series is a world first direct conversion FPD Cardiac imaging system to meet the demand for faster and safer PCI applications. Its high resolution FPD detector provides better visualization of interventional devices such as stent and guide wires.

HeartSpeed HF; Even the C-arm is floor mounted, longitudinal and transverse movement are enabled by its triple-pivot structure, which contributes to safer Trans-Radial interventions and other arm applications without shift or turn the patient table.HeartSpeed HC; the ceiling suspended C-arm system with double-ceiling-rail structure provides the widest coverage in this industry for longitudinal and transverse. This head-to-toe coverage has been widely appreciated in several swing labs where the system is used for cardiac and peripheral applications.

Sophisticated Peripheral Intervention support

Real-time DSA is optionally available to increase the productivity of the installed cath lab, where carotid stenting and peripheral interventions are planned and supported by DSA features.SHIMADZU's patented RSM (Real-time Smoothed Mask) technology is also brought into Safire system to realize perfect dynamic range management and makes lower-limb DSA examinations easy–to-do with free panning, wedge filter positioning is no longer required.

Comprehensive dose reduction

With the increasing incidence of PCI procedures comes greater demand for reduced exposure to the patient and medical staff during each procedure. The HeartSpeed Safire series achieves a good balance between dose reduction and good image quality.Multi beam hardening (MBH) filter built in the collimator, pulsed fluoroscopy and dose saving zoom features are available for dose reduction.

Efficient workflow and seamless expandability

DICOM Worklist enables secure patient entry to the system, simultaneous Fluoroscopy and Cine-loop (reference image) display side by side ensures PCI procedures, and DICOM data transfer in back-ground features are contributing higher patient throughput.

On-line cardiac workstation, Cardio Net View receives all image files during the procedure by the background DICOM transfer and ready to review and DICOM CD burn with automatic PC Viewer, right after the procedure.It complies with the demands for optional expandability to professional cardiac analysis and further network connectivity.
