Site Planning and Workflow
Core Medical Imaging’s interactive site planning method uses the vast experience we have gained over the years from listening to our customers. We are able to provide you with examples of designs from other successful projects, and may even include room/site visits to other facilities where you can talk with their imaging staff and see their workflow in action.
We will visit your facility to understand the current layout and workflow. If necessary, we will sketch and photograph the room or department being remodeled. After reviewing your plans (conceptually, architecturally, and functionally), we will develop a preliminary layout for your review. Your workflow will be re-evaluated, based on your feedback and after your final approval; a set of final set of drawings will be developed. These drawings will aid your contractors and architects in the development of their drawings and plans.
The resulting set of drawings ensures that the proposed room/site design achieves optimum productivity and is not underutilized or compromised due to a poor design. After all, an efficiently designed room increases patient throughput and staff productivity and reduces report turnaround time. Ultimately, your administration needs to see this type of result to reaffirm their support in your department’s investment.
Please see the Medical Imaging Magazine Article for an example of preliminary plans, which were developed from Core Medical’s proven process. In addition, please see the articles below from customers who have used this approach.
