Genesis Omni-PACS™ Medical
DICOM gateway, data management and file storing software

Omni-PACS™ consists of a DICOM Gateway (Engine) and database/File Server (Server). The Engine is a DICOM Gateway that receives DICOM images sent from a modality using the DICOM Storage SCP function, distributes and transmits them to the Server.

The DICOM Storage SCU function supports multiple server transmission. DICOM images can be simultaneously sent to other PACS products compatible with DICOM. The Engine provides outstanding performance in implementing hybrid PACS with the multiple-server approach.

The Engine consists of the DICOM Server Module (DICOM Storage SCP) and the Client Module (DICOM Storage SCU). The DICOM Echo/Storage SCP acknowledges response and receives images from a modality. The DICOM Storage SCU sends images to other PACS. The DICOM File Compressor acquires image files with the DICOM file compression processor, performs Lossless compression and transmits them to the Server.

DICOM Server Module (SCP) receives original image data from different modalities. Images are categorized into idb and DICOM files.

The DICOM Client Module (SCU) supports MIMO (Multiple Input-Multiple Output) that enables transmission of DICOM images to multiple PACS servers, viewers and third vendor DICOM servers. DICOM images are stored in the local disk and can be managed according to the date and time.

The Server consists of database and file server. Database server manages information of DICOM image and patient. File server consists of directories and files.
