Quantum Q-RAD Tomography TS Series

Quantum Q-RAD Tomography TS Series
The Q-Rad Tomography System is ideal for use within the busy radiology department of a hospital or imaging center. This proven system design allows complete functionality as a radiographic room with the ability to perform all tomography procedures. Technologists can easily and quickly switch between high patient caseloads in an emergency room setting to specialized tomographic procedures. The result is optimized work-flow, which ensures high patient throughput and delivers consistent, high quality images.

Quantum’s Ceiling-Mounted Tomo Tube Support (CMT-TOMO) incorporates a 5-tiered telescoping column with expansive overhead horizontal and transverse travel for complete flexibility and virtually unlimited imaging capabilities.

Tube support positioning is controlled through a series of easy accessible fingertip switches on the operator control handle. This centralized operator control with dual soft-grips permit smooth response to all system adjustments. Each of the operator control hand-grips incorporate a built-in “ALL-LOCK” release switch for one-handed operation, for effortless positioning.

The tomography sweep motion is an electronic motorized design for precise imaging control, without any mechanical coupling by the operator.

A digital display window provides complete system navigation for tomographic examinations. The operator can easily select the amplitude angle, fulcrum height and sweep speed for precise operation and control at the tableside.

The CMT unit is available with Motorized vertical travel, which allows for fingertip control of the system (RS-580-T-M).

The elevating float-top table is extremely versatile and facilitates the positioning of children or disabled patients with ease. Its long length and smooth floating ability allow exams of patients up to 80 inches, from head to toe, without the need to reposition. The table’s electronic brakes and height adjustment are controlled by a recessed foot switch, which is located away from the patient loading area for safety. Various height positions can be programmed to meet patient requirements. The table also includes a very low attenuation radiolucent table-top material and features flat accessory rails.

The table movements are controlled by a recessed kickswitch that can be programmed to users comfort.

The cassette tray is extremely smooth in design and function. It provides single handed operation through a spring activated cassette positioning system.

The VERTI-Q Vertical Wall Stand integrates Quantum’s exclusive EZ-Glide hand control, which is ergonomically designed to allow operator adjustment from a comfortable standing position with minimal effort.
