Shimadzu Fluorospeed 300 / DAR 8000i
Integrated Digital R/F System

The FluoroSpeed 300 is designed for high performance Digital R/F and Bucky radiography. By combining the latest DR system with the YSF-300 R/F table, the system's capability is expanded to perform Digital examinations from GI to Angiographic studies of the highest image quality.

The Digital Imaging technology provides excellent time and cost efficiency and effectively reduces X-ray dose to both patient and operator.

• Technician and patient radiation exposure is drastically reduced because the YSF-300 is equipped with an octagonal collimator.
• Quick positioning and wide scanning coverage by multi-directional power assisted SFD.
• Increased FOV by removing the Spot Film Device, the Image Intensifier faceplate can be mounted 75mm closer to the patient. This contributes to improved image quality, reduced X-ray dose and expansion of the available FOV for Fluoroscopy and Digital acquisition.
• Tableside controllable DR system is incorporated into the Imaging Control Unit on the table.
• 90Æ/90Æ table tilting at continuous variable speed and soft-start/stop.
• Flat carbon fibre tabletop has low attenuation thus reducing radiation exposure to the patient and operator.
  

Digital Radiography System - DAR 8000i

SHIMADZU's advanced Digital Imaging technology provides flexibility for many clinical applications. By incorporating the latest DR system with the YSF-300 R/F table, the systems capability is expanded to perform Digital examinations from GI, non-Vascular IVR and Angiographic studies of the highest quality.

• High definition, High-speed, Professional Digital Imaging
  A high performance 1 million-pixel CCD camera provides fully digital 1024x1024 matrix fluoroscopic and radioscopic images. Furthermore, even the slightest differences in contrast are expressed faithfully via the 12-bit (4096 levels of gray) density resolution. DAR8000i can perform 7.5 frames/sec. in and , the world’s highest density resolution to provide crystal clear images.
• High-Speed Consecutive Radiography for Perfect Radiographic Timing
  Consecutive, high-definition 1024X1024 high-speed digital imaging is possible at up to 15 frames per second. This means even hard-to-time regions, such as videofluoroscopic examinations of swallowing, can be observed accurately via high definition images, with little ghosting or blurring.
• DSA Capability (option)
  The multi system can perform high quality Real-time DSA at frame rates up to 7.5fps. With its unique applications software and Real-time DSA functions, the system supports highly advanced vascular imaging as well as Digital R/F procedures.
